The qualifications in both subjects at all levels are aimed at anyone who is 19+ and wishes to:

• Learn practical, real-world skills that can be immediately applied in various situations, such as budgeting, problem-solving, and communication.
• Possess a functional skills qualification to enhance their employability by demonstrating competence in essential areas valued by employers, such as literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
• Achieve a functional skills qualification that will boost confidence and self-esteem, and gain proficiency in fundamental skills necessary for everyday life and work.
• Obtain a qualification that can serve as a stepping stone to further education, training, or employment opportunities, providing a solid foundation for continued personal and professional development.

Everyone will be working at different levels and the course takes this fully into account, providing a very personal experience, and the course will take about 50 hours and on average learners complete it within 4 – 8 weeks depending on the time given to the learning. You will be able to study both at home (home study) or in person and at home if you are local to Skegness with full support from our tutors, who are here every step of the way to help you achieve your goal.
