Creating spreadsheets doesn’t mean you need to be a Maths genius! Learn how to create spreadsheets for either work or personal use. Once you’ve figured out the foundations with our help and guidance, it’ll open up new opportunities for your data and you will be able to enter data and perform calculations with the end result being presented in a clear and easily digestible way.

Course Contents

·         Lesson 1: Excel Layout and Introduction

·         Lesson 2: Formatting Spreadsheets and Cells

·         Lesson 3: Sorting, Formula, and Functions

·         Lesson 4: Charts and Printing

·         Lesson 5: Final Task

The final task of this course is to use a pre-configured spreadsheet on which you will be making changes using features and skills you have learned through the lessons. This being a Beginner’s Spreadsheets course, we recommend making notes of which tabs (Home, Insert, Design….) contain which sections.

In the first part of the final task, you will learn how to add up all the numbers in the columns using a simple function. Furthermore, you will be required to insert charts, add a thick box border, change the writing styles, and print your work which is optional but has guidance on.

The second part of the task is to use the knowledge obtained through lessons to edit a spreadsheet using different functions making the data collected easier to present in a document.
