You will be taught using a range of methods including presentations, online recordings, video walkthroughs, and step-by-step guides, depending on your course. All courses also come with short tasks to complement your learning and support from our local tutors available 6 days a week to assist you through the program. When completed, you also gain a certificate.
All courses are funded by the Lincolnshire County Council and the European Union and have been made available free to enable individuals over 19 and living in Lincolnshire to be upskilled - to aid volunteering, employment or further training opportunities.
No! There are no formal examinations. Just a list of step-by-step tasks to be completed and submitted to our tutors for feedback.
Yes! Every course we provide allows you to claim a printable certificate on the completion of the course.
No. But we dearly hope you will complete the courses as all of our courses are short in length and allow you to learn 24 hours a day 7 days a week over a 4-week period. We will work with you if issues arise. We want to help you suceed.
Our tutor's working days are Monday to Saturday, and responses can be expected between 9 am to 9 pm on these days.
If you are 19 or older as of the 31st of August 2022 and are living or working in Lincolnshire, your course will be absolutely free! Funding for our courses is provided by the Lincoln County Council and the European Union.
Our courses on work, life, and job seeking skills can put you in the best position to secure employment, gain a promotion, or for personal interest.
Yes! A varied and developed skillset will look very appealing on your CV, particularly when backed up with physical evidence in the form of your printable certificate.
Due to our courses being funded, there is a requirement for them to be completed in a timely manner. We put a 4-week end date on each course, but please note if this is not possible we will work with you to find a solution. As an average at present, the majority of learners finish within 2 weeks.
Every qualifying learner can enrol on a single course from the outset, but as we are funded by the County Council we have some funding available for second courses. Please contact us if you require a second course. It is also worth noting that we have bundles of courses available e.g. all our beginner level IT courses can be done as one enrolment rather than 3 etc.
Each of our courses are between 3-12 hours in length (the majority are 3 hours), further details and course lengths are available within the courses section of our website. (qualification-based courses are more)
Funding for our courses is provided by Lincolnshire County Council and the European Union and is provided for people over 19 years old, on or before 31/08/2023 who are residents or working in Lincolnshire.
Simply put no, if you want to learn for personal interest then you are more than welcome to, the funding is for anyone over the age of 19 living or working in Lincolnshire with no upper limit!

Lincolnshire County Council and Choose ICT Ltd trading as Skills 365 is registered with the Information Commissioner under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), 2018, and all information will be processed in accordance with the Act.
Our tutor-led courses are run through Zoom. You may be working alongside a small group of other learners. Each session will cover a different topic and you will be given tasks to complete during the session. At the end, you will be given a revisory homework task to complete and email back to your tutor.
We understand that work and other life commitments may create scheduling conflicts. If this is the case, please contact us to be organised into an alternative timeslot with the same content.
After you have submitted all of your revision tasks and have received feedback, you can claim a digital certificate, as well as the opportunity to join any of our other courses.
